These Subscription Terms apply to paid digital products offered in the Carity iOS app through Apple's App Store.

1. Products Covered

Carity may offer:

  • a yearly premium subscription; and
  • optional one-off tip purchases.

Customer-facing names, prices, and descriptions are the ones displayed in the App Store and in the app at the time of purchase.

2. Who Sells and Bills the Purchase

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account.

  • Apple is the merchant of record.
  • Apple handles billing, payment collection, renewal settings, and refund workflows.
  • Carity may receive entitlement and transaction metadata from the app so the service can reflect your access status, but Carity does not directly charge your card.

3. Auto-Renewing Subscription

If you buy an auto-renewing subscription:

  • payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase;
  • the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
  • your account is charged for renewal within the period specified by Apple before the current term ends; and
  • you can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Any free trial, introductory offer, or promotional pricing will be governed by the offer details shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.

4. Premium Access

When a premium subscription is active, Carity may enable premium or entitlement-aware features in the app.

Carity mirrors your entitlement state from the App Store to keep app and support visibility in sync, but Apple remains the payment and entitlement source of truth.

If a subscription expires, is revoked, is not renewed, or cannot be validated, premium access may be limited or removed.

5. One-Off Tips

Optional tip purchases are one-time payments.

  • They do not create an ongoing subscription.
  • They do not auto-renew.
  • Unless the app expressly says otherwise at purchase time, they are support-style purchases and do not create a continuing premium entitlement.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel an auto-renewing subscription through your Apple account settings.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies and processes. If you want a refund, you should use Apple's purchase-support channels.

7. Price Changes

If subscription pricing changes, Apple will present the change in accordance with App Store rules and your local law where applicable.

8. Service Changes

We may update the features included in Carity Premium from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app, App Store listing, website, or other product communications as appropriate.
